The Diakonie's senior centre zentrum plus Vennhausen runs a chess meeting (Schachtreff) every Thursday from 14:00 to 16:00; its October-to-December 2026 programme lists chess weekly under the Thursday overview, for players and for people who want to learn, and the centre's page prints the same meeting on Thursdays.
